Spoked Dreams tells the story of a solo bicycle trip that spanned sixty-six days and included 2,509 miles of riding and over 250 miles of hiking through six southwestern states.  The numbers, the route, and a list of places seen do not capture the experience of doing it.  Spoked Dreams is not a travel guide or a “how-to” book although it contains good information for anyone contemplating an extended bicycle trip.  Spoked Dreams is mostly about the experience of the ride, and its real story is about riding from one place in life to another.
